and the seasons fly…

The breezes blew the leaves from the trees…and took us straight into December overnight!

Here we are, only days from a new year and I am taking a few moments to pause and be mindful of the many blessings that have fallen upon me in recent days…

A fun and safe trip to Amarillo and Palo Duro Canyon…our final RV outing of the year was one of the best and a wonderful way to spend a cool November weekend. (Just click on any of the gallery photos to see it enlarged.)

A celebration of Thanksgiving with family gathered for a feast and fellowship…everyone healthy and able to attend. An event in which I was so “in the moment” that my phone never even made it out for photos…

The cottage dressed for the holidays, making us feel cozy and warm inside. What a delight it remains to see the lights of the tree last thing in the evening and first thing in the morning.

And what a treat for my son to hang the beautiful icicle lights outside to help welcome guests and shine for passersby.

We welcomed a precious new granddaughter, Kimber Kae. Mother and baby healthy and a family grown just in time for Christmas.

Many say 2021 was a terrible year – just as bad as 2020. Yes, there were trials for us – illness, health issues and career changes that had to be worked through. But, there were oh so many blessings and for them I am grateful!

As we prepare to head into 2022, we wish you many blessings and much happiness!
