Welcome to Janie’s Porch

Hey, y’all! I’m Jane and I invite you to sit and visit with me for a bit. Let’s try the porch, where the air is fresh and the feeling is informal. Don’t you think informal is just the best?!?!?!

Base camp is in Texas, with Eddie Dale and our pups, Jack and Rusty. We live in a cottage (i.e., little house) only four blocks from where I grew up. Having both recently retired, we are just getting into this next season in life and navigating our way one day at a time. I can’t wait to see what unfolds in this chapter!

I am a writer at heart – not necessarily a crafter, decorator, baker or stylist. I am definitely not an “influencer” and have no desire to be one. What I share here on the porch is mostly my words and thoughts, with a photo thrown in here and there for good measure.
